Charles Ayars
Although a San Diego native, Charles' interest in photography began on the plains of South Dakota taking pictures of old barns. He retired after 36 years as a Presbyterian Pastor, having served in six states. Over the past eight years, Charles has expanded his artist eye to capture not only the beauty of nature, but the transformation and layering of images to create unique photo collages and abstracts. Charles' prints have been juried and sold in galleries. Charles currently lives outside Spokane, WA with his wife Rose and two dogs.
